About me!
Hi my name is Jarryd Edgar, a professional physiotherapist running exercise classes in Yokine Regional Open Space
I studied physiotherapy a Curtin University and after working in a private musculoskeletal practice I decided I wanted to make a class thats affordable and accessible for our aging population.
I think it's amazing that our population is living longer, but its a shame that when we get to our well earned retirement we are too sore and weak to participate and enjoy life.
These classes are designed for people over 50 with sore hips and knees. Potentially you have been told you will need a joint replacement in the future, you have osteoarthritis, or you are just finding as you get older your hips and knees are aching more... this class is meant for you!


Why join this class?
The research is clear now that stronger leg muscles improve longevity, they allow us to participate in activities we enjoy and prevent falls. The recipe is simple, lift progressively heavier weights and perform exercises 3x a week to improve bone density and muscular strength.
We start with small consistent actions, you will not be asked to do anything that is too hard or outside of your comfort zone.
What to do?
Step 1
Book online.
Step 2
Turn up wearing comfortable clothes for movement.
Step 3
You are guided through various simple movements such as a warm up, squats, balancing and more!
